PROTECTIVE PREMASK
FOR WIDE FORMAT DIGITAL GRAPHICS
4000RLA®

BACKING
A standard weight saturated paper designed specifically for the protective masking of wide format digital graphics
and large vinyl graphics.

ADHESIVE
A very low tack natural rubber adhesive system designed for short- or long-term protection of large digital prints or
vinyl graphics, as well as plastic and metal surfaces. Adhesive will not build over time and will remove easily from
the printed graphic upon removal of the premask. Not for exterior applications.

R TAPE RELEASE LINER ADHESION (RLA™) PERFORMANCE FEATURES
R Tape Premasks upgraded with RLA technology have improved adhesion to paper or film release liners, yet
maintain the specified adhesion level to the vinyl or printed graphic. R Tape RLA Premasks anchor themselves to
the release liner for superior lay flat to prevent tunneling and edge curling of stacked or rolled graphics. Some R
Tape RLA products significantly reduce the need for heat and vacuum process after lamination.
